A tiny step too late

Deccan Herald today asks readers to visit the website to view a video of a story.

Sometimes a small step in the right direction needs to be applauded, even if it is a bit late in the day and  just a half-hearted attempted.

I am not sure if I’ve seen something like this before during my morning dose of Deccan Herald, so it came as a pleasant surprise to see the picture above, with the accompanying promise of a video on the story if readers wanted to get more on the story.

For those who do make the trip to Deccan Herald’s website have also to make a trip to the video section of the site. And unfortunately have to clicks twice more before the video in question gets going. That’s great navigation. But for longtime readers like me, this is great news.
